| THE PANTERS BEAT THE PUFFERS IN NOT THE BOOMERANG CUP REUNION 31st January 2009 |
| PHTC staged its second reunion match involving players who had represented the club in Melbourne in previous Boomerang Cup competitions. A bumper turn-out of players and partners enjoyed 8 highly entertaining and competitive doubles matches, each of 1 set to 7 games; slightly against the odds, The Panters beat The Puffers by 6 ties to 2! We all enjoyed a magnificent curry dinner thanks to the culinary skills of Charmaine Kearl. |
