| MacKEOWN AND FORTUNE WIN ELLIS/RICH DOUBLES 26th Oct 2008 |
| This is Petworth´s open doubles event in which handicaps are ignored. Thus the variance in standard is substantial, but this did not prevent several lower level couples throwing their hats into the ring, and there were some very exciting matches. The seedings were almost correct, and the final could have gone either way, but the No.1 seeds just squeezed through. Brian Rich gave an excellent end of session speech. |
